ABOUT US

Founded in 2017 as a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, our original mission was to raise private funds to collaborate with the City in constructing four public pickleball courts. The courts were completed in the fall of 2022, and our focus turned to creating an environment where players of all skill levels can enjoy the game in a fun and inclusive atmosphere. ​The club has maintained its partnership with the City by entering into a contract for year-round maintenance of the courts. In return, we were granted exclusive use of the courts for club play at no charge.

 

An important benefit of membership, as well as for visitors who drop in to play during club hours, is the use of an orderly court rotation protocol. It gets everyone on and off the courts quickly and efficiently.  Four players take a court and play one game. Once off the court, they can immediately place their paddles in line for the next open court. This minimizes wait times between games to just a few minutes.

 

When attendance is high, rally scoring is temporarily used, which allows more games to be played in a shorter amount of time.  Additionally, the club provides balls at no extra charge to members or guests for all club activities.
